Fine Arts Workshop
Program of the Republican Children’s Library and the Ural Tansykbayev House Museum
A series of workshops, guided tours, and meetings in which traditional museum formats are combined with contemporary educational and inclusive practices. We believe it is important for art to be not only studied, but also experienced — for the child to become a researcher, and for the museum to be a safe space for dialogue and imagination.
Ural Tansykbayev (1904–1974) was a People’s Artist of Uzbekistan and one of the founders of the national school of painting. We invite young participants to sense his quietness and light, to learn how to look attentively, to notice, and to convey their impressions through direct, hands-on engagement with materials.
