Clubs

Clubs are regular meetings at the library where we read, discuss, play, and explore topics together

Each session is a separate event, and you can attend once or on a regular basis. Library clubs dedicated to reading, board games, and themed activities are held regularly and are open to visitors of all ages. Participation is free—advance registration is required. Every month, we select topics for discover new books for reading, and update the scenarios for games and themed activities. The schedule is published once a month.

English Book Club
(Ages 0–5)

Fridays

Small Transformable Hall

We read picture books with our teachers and library staff, discuss short stories, learn to listen and respond, and build children’s first trust in books. The club meets twice a month. Parent attendance is required.

July 3
Book: Where Is the Little Tiger? (Campbell Books)

Where has the restless little tiger gone? Young readers and their parents will set off in search of him and meet other furry friends along the way.

July 17
Book: Buster’s Farm. Author: Rod Campbell
Buster invites everyone to visit the farm for new experiences and new friends! We’ll play with the dog, count the sheep, and feed the ducks.

July 31

Book: Play Hide & Seek with Bee. Author: Sam Taplin
Among bright flowers and green bushes, the insects have decided to play hide-and-seek. Curious Bee joins the game. Will she be able to find all her friends?

English Book Club

We read engaging books, create stories, draw, play games, and learn English in a creative and interactive way. Through play, imagination, and meaningful connections, we immerse ourselves in the world of English vocabulary. We develop speaking skills, critical thinking, and a love of reading. The club meets twice a month.

Book: A New Visitor to Our Town. Author: Marta Altés
A little dog is searching for a home in a big city. Along the way, he finds kind friends who help him feel less alone.

July 12

Book: "The Travels of the Spirit of Time" by Gulchekhra-Begim Makhmudova.
Gulchekhra-Begim Makhmudova is a PhD in Art History, entrepreneur, producer, and the author of the children's book series "The Legend of the Spirit of Time." Together with the author, we will read excerpts from "The Travels of the Spirit of Time" and discover the story of a group of children who, during a trip to Khiva, find an ancient spell and embark on an exciting journey through the centuries.
The meeting will take place in the Assembly Hall.

July 19
Book: Nook. Author: Sally Anne Garland
A story about a shy rabbit named Nook. He loves watching the world from the comfort of his cozy hiding place. One day, when someone unexpectedly takes over his home, Nook stops hiding and discovers that he has friends around him who are ready to help.

July 26
Book: The Star in the Forest
Author: Helen Kellock
A story about curiosity and courage. Two sisters notice a mysterious glow deep in the forest and decide to set off on a journey to discover its source.
